The expert assessed the negotiations between the Russian business and the Saudi holding

The negotiations of the Russian business delegation with the Saudi holding company Al-Najm have become a significant stage in the formation of a strategic partnership between the two countries, said Irina Andreeva, CEO of ARKA LLC. According to her assessment, the parties are moving from one-time contacts to building a comprehensive cooperation platform in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.

The Russian delegation was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Najm Holding, Prince Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Najm Group, Advisor to the Prince's Office Tariq Hassan Al-Ahmadi.

On the Russian side, Anton Efimov, Vice Governor of the Orenburg Region, Sergey Nikiforov, Director General of the Orenburg Special Economic Zone, Pavel Fink, Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investment of the Samara Region, and Denis Gurkov, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Samara Region, took part in the negotiations. The business was represented by the companies "EPOX" and "AMT-16" (Kazan), the eye microsurgery clinic "AiMed", the Industrialist company, as well as the companies "ALLMIRIN", "MAGIC" and "SPK-Resource".

Tariq Al-Ahmadi presented a comprehensive economic initiative, which, according to Andreeva, set the outline of a potential Saudi-Russian investment alliance based on public-private partnership models and scalable industry solutions. A separate item on the agenda was the coordination of the efforts of Russia and Saudi Arabia in the reconstruction projects of Sudan and Syria.

During a closed-door meeting with Prince Abdulaziz Al Saud, Al-Ahmadi, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region Pavel Fink and Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Samara Region Denis Gurkov, the parties outlined a strategic vision for a long-term institutional partnership. The regions of Russia, according to Andreeva, are considered as equal participants offering specific platforms, projects and industries for joint work.

The cultural and diplomatic dimension of the meeting was given by the participation of Kristina Militskaya, who presented a play dedicated to Karim Khakimov, a diplomat who played a key role in the formation of relations between the USSR and the Arab world.

"The meeting is a significant stage in the formation of a new architecture of strategic partnership between Russia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. The parties are moving from individual contacts to the formation of a comprehensive cooperation platform, where each participant — from regions and special economic zones to business associations — enhances the overall effect," Andreeva emphasized.

The event was organized by ARKA LLC (the Arab-Russian Cultural Association), which provided the preparation of the agenda, selection of projects and support for the delegations. The meeting was coordinated by Advisor Hussein Mohamed Hassan Mustafa Jafar on behalf of Al-Najm Holding.
