There has been an outbreak of norovirus in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This was announced on February 19 by the press service of the lower house of the Ukrainian parliament.

"A PCR study found that the individuals who passed the tests had the same type of virus, norovirus," the publication says in a Telegram channel.

It is noted that the necessary measures have been taken to ensure the non-proliferation of infection.

The Ukrainska Pravda newspaper reported on February 12 that the Verkhovna Rada was unable to hold a plenary session due to mass food poisoning of people's deputies. Most of the victims had similar symptoms: fever, weakness, intestinal disorders, and diarrhea.
