In St. Petersburg, a culinary college student set a world record for the number of baked pancakes. Alexandra Rogova baked 199 pancakes in an hour.

According to her, the cooking process turned out to be more difficult than she expected. According to the requirements of the commission, the pancakes must be perfectly baked, with a diameter of at least 20 cm. For this reason, the girl had to urgently search all over the city for frying pans of the right size.

Alexandra was cooking alone. The result was recorded in photos and videos. The process was monitored by two independent observers. The Interrecord Expert Commission is online.

The girl needed 24 frying pans, 4 liters of milk, the same amount of water, 30 eggs and about 3 kg of flour. 173 out of 199 baked pancakes were found to be suitable in size and color. Their total weight was 7.5 kg.

The student set a record on February 19th, her birthday. She sent all the pancakes to the Nochlezhka charitable foundation.

After the official verification, the achievement was registered in the International Book of Records "Interrecord" and in the Register of Records of Russia, writes 78.ru .

Earlier, Izvestia calculated the cost of products for pancakes on Shrovetide. On average, a pancake basket will cost 500 rubles this year. It contains the most necessary ingredients: milk, flour, eggs, butter and sugar. You will have to pay the most for groceries in Novosibirsk, where the price tag will be about 540 rubles. Approximately the same receipt is available in online stores in Yekaterinburg.
