On the 85th km of the M-4 Don highway in the Moscow region, five accidents involving 12 cars occurred. This was reported on February 19 in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"There was a massive traffic accident on 85 km of the M-4 Don highway. According to preliminary information, five accidents involving 12 cars occurred on this section of the highway," the department's Telegram channel says.

There were no injuries as a result of the accident. The vehicles suffered mechanical damage. It is noted that the movement of vehicles towards Moscow is limited. Traffic police officers are working at the scene. Drivers are advised to choose detours.

The day before, four people were injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on the M-4 Don highway. It was emphasized that the driver, born in 1987, driving a Yutong passenger bus, according to preliminary data, did not ensure an unsafe distance from the Scania truck in front and collided with it. There were 18 passengers inside the passenger vehicle at the time of the accident.
