Avito reported on innovations in the placement of ads about animals
Since February 16, the Avito platform has expanded the limits for posting ads about animal shelters and verified pet volunteers. At the same time, restrictions on the publication of ads are being introduced for ordinary users. This was reported by the Avito press service.
According to Avito, this will reduce the likelihood of duplication of information and increase the chances of animals finding new owners faster.
Without verification, users will be able to place no more than three "in good hands" ads per month in the "cats" and "dogs" categories. After verification, the limit increases to 300 ads in each of these categories. Verified accounts are also given access to a professional account with the ability to connect employees and volunteers to the shelter's profile and jointly manage publications. Ads from such users will be included in thematic collections, which will expand the reach of the audience and speed up the process of animal placement.
Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, users who are interested in animals from shelters will see more such ads from verified accounts in their recommendations, Avito noted. Subsequently, integration with the AI assistant Avi is planned, which will help users pick up a pet and choose a nickname.
As part of the verification, documents, conditions of detention of wards, the availability of veterinary records, information about vaccination and sterilization, as well as other parameters are checked. To participate, you must fill out a questionnaire on the company's website, attach documents, photos and videos, and links to official online channels. The verification is carried out by specialists of the platform together with partner funds - "Nika", "Fidelity" and "Dogs who love". The procedure is free and takes several days. You can fill out an application on the Avito platform in the "Animals" section. At the moment, 65 shelters have been checked.
