Ukraine became entangled in its own demands at the trilateral talks in Geneva. This was announced on February 18 by American political scientist Gilbert Doctorow.

"Ukrainians are split in half because [Kirill, head of the office of the President of Ukraine] Budanov (listed as an extremist and terrorist in the Russian Federation. — Ed.) calls for the immediate surrender of Donbass, and other members of the delegation <...> are building a line [of Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky's statement that they will not make territorial concessions, which, in principle, is the exact opposite thesis," he said on the YouTube channel Judjing Freedom.
