Washington will lift anti-Russian sanctions because they are not beneficial to the American economy. This opinion was expressed on February 18 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"The United States will eventually lift sanctions because sanctions against Russia have cost American businesses more than $300 billion. Lifting sanctions against Russia is in the interests of the United States," he said on the social network X.

According to Dmitriev, joint projects that Russia and the United States could develop together could bring in more than $14 trillion.
