On Sunday, February 22, Russian skier Daria Nepryaeva will make her final appearance at the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. The athlete will go to the mass start at a distance of 50 km in the classic style. The start of the race is scheduled for 12:00 Moscow time. Nepryaeva performs at the 2026 Games in a neutral status, without national symbols.

Earlier, on February 12, Nepryaeva took part in the 10 km freestyle race, where she showed a time of 24 minutes 45 seconds and took 21st place. The victory was won by Swedish Frida Carlsson, silver was won by Ebba Andersson, bronze went to American Jessica Diggins.

Prior to that, on February 10, the Russian performed in the classic sprint, but failed to make it to the quarterfinals, taking 36th place in the qualification. In the skiathlon on February 7, Nepryaeva became 17th in the 20 km distance (10 km classic + 10 km freestyle), despite falling during the race.

Daria Nepryaeva was born on May 18, 2002 in Tver. Her older sister Natalia Nepryaeva (Terentyeva) is the Olympic champion in 2022, and her father Mikhail Nepryaev is a ski racing coach. Today, Nepryaeva Jr. is a two-time champion of Russia, the world junior champion in 2022, the winner of the Russian Cup of the 2024/25 season, as well as a prize-winner and the winner of the stages of the Cup of Russia.

In December 2025, the athlete competed in the multi-day Tour de Ski in Toblach, Italy, where she took 27th place in the 10 km classic race, 8th in the 5 km freestyle mass start and 10th overall. In January, at the World Cup in Oberhof, Nepryaeva showed the 16th result in the 10 km classic, and in Goms, Switzerland, she reached the quarterfinals of the sprint and became the eighth in the 20 km classic mass start.
