A fire broke out in a sanatorium in the Kurgan region

The fire occurred in the sanatorium building in the village of Iskra, Kurgan region. This was reported on February 18 in the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is specified that the fire alarm was received by the dispatcher at 09:33 (07:33 Moscow time). The fire broke out in a building on Gennady Ozhgikhin Street in the Zverinogolovsky municipal district of the region.

"At the time of the arrival of the first unit, heavy smoke was observed on the 3rd floor of the building," TASS cites the text of the message.

19 people and 7 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No injuries were reported. Later it became known that the open gorenje had been eliminated.
