Russia has issued the first vegan alcohol certificate

The first vegan alcohol has been certified in Russia. This was announced on February 18 in Roskachestvo.

"The certification body Roskachestvo — Vegan has issued the first certificate for alcoholic beverages, balms and vinegar," TASS reports.

The manufacturer has confirmed the conformity of products with GOST, which sets strict criteria for production processes and excludes the presence of impurities of animal components, even at the molecular level.

"The certification was carried out by an accredited certification body. As a result, the manufacturer received the right to label products with a special approved mark selected based on the results of the All—Russian vote," Roskachestvo added.

It is noted that the certificate was received by the enterprise from the Republic of Bashkortostan JSC Bashspirtprom.
