The Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Primorskoye in the Zaporozhye region

Units of the 108th Guards Airborne Assault Kuban Cossack Order of Suvorov and the Red Star Regiment, the 162nd Separate Guards Reconnaissance Battalion, the 65th separate airborne assault battalion of the 7th Guards Airborne Red Banner, the Orders of Alexander Nevsky, Suvorov and Kutuzov Division (mountain) from the Dnepr group of forces The village of Primorskoye in the Zaporizhia region was liberated. This was announced on February 18 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the paratroopers, with the support of strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), liberated buildings one by one, cleared shelters and dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

The Ministry of Defense also highlighted the work of the cannon and rocket artillery units of the Guards Artillery Order of Kutuzov regiment of the Novorossiysk Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces). They destroyed huge areas, cleared houses of Ukrainian soldiers.

During the liberation of the settlement, units of a separate battalion of unmanned systems of the Novorossiysk paratroopers showed coordinated work. Their tasks included escorting and covering the attacking units, conducting reconnaissance, destroying the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with FPV drones, working in open areas and in shelters.

On February 16, Russian troops liberated the village of Pokrovka in the Sumy region and Minkovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the day exceeded 600 people.
