A resident of Tokmak died as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
As a result of the Ukrainian attack on the Tokmak municipal district, a civilian was killed and two more men were injured. This was announced on February 17 by the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, in his Telegram channel.
According to him, a resident of Tokmak, born in 1968, was fatally injured. Two more victims, men born in 1949 and 1956, were promptly delivered to doctors and received the necessary assistance.
"As a result of the enemy's attack on the Tokmak municipal district, a resident of Tokmak was injured, incompatible with life," Balitsky said.
The head of the region also expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.
Balitsky reported on February 16 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had launched an aerial bomb attack on a section of the Kharkiv–Simferopol–Yalta highway in the Zaporizhia region. As a result of the attack, the asphalt surface of the road was damaged, but no injuries were recorded at that time. The governor noted that there is no threat to traffic, and restoration work will be carried out as soon as possible.
