Sergeant Serhiy Filippov, as a driver of the logistics battalion, was delivering cargo for a motorized rifle company when his car was attacked by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the special military operation zone on February 18.

Filippov managed to avoid a collision with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and successfully delivered the cargo to its destination. Arriving at the unit's position, he took the seriously wounded soldier with him and evacuated him to a safe place for medical treatment.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage and competent actions of Corporal Alexei Bogdanov, who commanded the assault group and carried out the task of defeating the enemy by fire.

The APU struck with cluster munitions, but Bogdanov managed to lead his comrades out from under fire, and then attack the enemy position of the grenade launcher crew. As a result, they managed to advance deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, none of the Russian servicemen were injured.
