- Kravtsov noted the importance of a thorough discussion of changes in the education system.
Any changes in the Russian education system require careful discussion. On February 17, Sergey Kravtsov, the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia.
In January, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov sent a letter to the minister in which he proposed to transform the position of classroom teacher in schools. He suggested that teachers should be assigned the status of mentor and relieved of their subject load.
Kravtsov recalled that such teachers organize the work of the class and receive monthly payments for guidance.
"Any proposals that relate to changing the work of classroom teachers should be carefully discussed with the teaching community, and after that, certain decisions should be made," he stressed.
About the introduction of the course "Ministry Training. The first" compulsory school curriculum became known on the same day. It was noted that for the successful implementation of projects, students will be able to receive additional points for the Unified State Exam. The program will be integrated into the subject "Individual Project" for students in grades 10-11 starting in September.
