One of the patients hospitalized with a diagnosis of monkeypox was discharged from Domodedovo Hospital after recovery. This was reported on February 17 in the Telegram channel of the medical institution.

"One of the patients diagnosed with monkey pox has been discharged from the Domodedovo Hospital with recovery," the report says.

At the moment, only one patient with this diagnosis remains in the hospital. His condition is assessed as satisfactory.

Domodedovo Hospital reported on February 14 that the number of patients with monkey pox who are being treated at the medical facility has increased to three. The condition of all the patients was assessed as satisfactory. The first patient was discharged the next day after recovery.

The confirmation of monkey pox in one of the patients admitted to Domodedovo Hospital was reported on February 1. Later it became known about the identification of people in contact with the sick man. As a result, they were placed in isolation.

In turn, Candidate of Medical Sciences, director of the Scientific Research Center for the Prevention and treatment of viral infections, Georgy Vikulov, in an interview with Izvestia, listed the symptoms that precede the main signs of this disease.

So, he named headache and muscle pain, as well as an increase in regional lymph nodes. At the same time, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate Professor of the Department of Fundamental Medicine of the FEFU Galina Companets on February 4 spoke about the unlikely outbreak of smallpox in Russia.
