The Armed forces of Ukraine attacked a civilian car with a drone in the village of Kalinovka in the Khomutovsky district of the Kursk region. As a result of the strike, a civilian was killed. This was announced on February 17 by Governor Alexander Khinshtein.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces used a drone to attack a civilian car in the village of Kalinovka in the Khomutovsky district. Unfortunately, a man died as a result of the impact," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Khinstein added that one attack also hit a car in the village of Belitsa, Belovsky district. The driver, fortunately, was not injured and refused to be hospitalized.
On the same day, it was reported that a nine-year-old child was injured in an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sevastopol. According to the governor, Sevastopol was the longest attack in recent times. More than 24 Ukrainian drones were shot down. In addition to the injured, damage was recorded to the windows of houses, cars, as well as gas pipes.
