Russians have become more interested in some types of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) on the secondary market. In December 2025 and January 2026, the demand for certain types of equipment increased by one and a half to two times compared to the same period last year, and the average price decreased to 970 thousand rubles (-7.6%). Experts from Avito Special Equipment told Izvestia about this on February 17.

So, in the first two months of winter, interest in LCVs increased by 60%, and in some types of light trucks — even more. For example, interest in awning trucks has almost doubled, for insulated trucks — by 81.3%, for on—board trucks - by 72.7%. Industrial vans grew along with the market (+57.5%), while all—metal vans increased by 35.8%.

In the category of awning trucks, GAZ models account for the largest share of interest (89%). According to experts, awning transport has fallen in price by 13.2% over the year, to 1.1 million rubles. The average prices of BAW (-34.2%; up to 500 thousand rubles) and GAS (-9.2%; up to 1.2 million rubles) decreased the most.

GAS also remains the most popular insulated van (51% of interest). Insulated vans are sold on average for 1 million rubles. During the year, the most intense decrease was in the price of Foton (-23.5%; up to 650 thousand).

GAZ (58.3%) and UAZ (10.6%) are the leaders among on-board vehicles in terms of interest. The average price of flatbed trucks decreased by 5.2% (758.1 thousand rubles). The drop in the cost of Hyundai was the largest (-19.1%; up to 550 thousand rubles).

The top 3 brands of industrial vans included: GAZ (56.4%), Ford (6.5%) and Hyundai (4.9%). Industrial goods vans fell in price by 7.5% to 971.3 thousand rubles. The price of Mercedes-Benz decreased at the fastest pace (by 30.4%; up to 1.6 million rubles).

The structure of interest in all-metal vans is dominated by GAS (31.3%). All-metal transport is on average 10.5% more affordable this winter than a year ago (850 thousand rubles). The decrease in Ford's value was the most noticeable — minus 32.1%.

Earlier, on January 30, it was reported that 10.3 thousand new cars of the Russian brand Sollers were sold in Russia last year, which is 22% less than a year earlier. According to him, almost 73% of this volume accounted for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and more than a quarter (26.5%) — for pickups.
