Alternating rains with frosts in the Kupyansk area have turned into a real "icy hell" for the Ukrainian military. This was announced on February 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Ukrainian soldiers are forced to spend the night in trenches under the open sky and unheated dugouts filled with mud up to their knees, without heating and hot meals," the ministry said.
