Chinese advertisers invested more than 2.6 billion rubles in VK promotion in 2025

Investments of Chinese advertisers in promotion on VK platforms exceeded 2.6 billion rubles in 2025. This was announced on February 17 on the company's website.

"We see a steady interest of foreign advertisers in promoting on Russian platforms. China remains the largest advertiser among non—residents," said Irina Alekseeva, VK's Deputy Vice President for B2B Commerce and the company's commercial director.

According to VK, the number of advertisers from China increased by 70%, and their spending increased by 18%. It is clarified that the list of categories in demand by advertisers in China includes "Games", "Recreation and Entertainment", as well as "E-commerce".

The company stressed that Chinese companies were actively investing budgets in the promotion of household appliances and electronics, as indicated by a 1.5—fold increase on VK's B2B digital platform for corporate purchases and sales.

At the same time, Cyprus and Turkey have been on the list of the leading countries in terms of budget growth after China since 2024. It is noted that the budgets of Cypriot advertisers are increasing by 40% year-on—year, and Turkish ones by 13% year-on-year.

Among the most popular categories in Turkey were "Travel and transport" — 46% of all expenses, "Games— - 8%, "Telecom— - 7%, the company added.

Last November, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Moscow and Beijing should continue to jointly create favorable conditions for attracting mutual investments. He also noted the importance of supporting joint projects between the two countries.
