According to IA PriamurMedia, of the 10 water intake wells of the group water intake in the village of Novobureyskiy, only four are functioning. This was discussed at a meeting between Governor Vasily Orlov and the head of the district, Andrei Litvinov.

17 million rubles were spent on the modernization of water supply in three years, but this amount is not enough to fully cover the work. Orlov stressed that Novobureyskiy is a promising settlement, as several large enterprises, including the Nizhne-Bureyskaya HPP, are located on its territory. In addition, the "Power of Siberia" is taking place there. It is necessary to build housing in the village, it is necessary to provide houses with water, heat and electricity.

The departments were instructed to finance the design documentation for the new water intake and to complete the treatment facilities, which are 80% ready.

In October, the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy was informed that almost 100% of the Amur Basin vessels were outdated. This applies to 838 units of the fleet, of which only 73 are under the age of 24, and their average age is 46 years. Because of this, the ability to transport cargo is reduced.
