The Baku military court has sentenced the former State Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh, Ruben Vardanyan, to 20 years in prison. This was reported by the AZERTAC news agency on February 17.

"At an open court hearing on the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan, accused under such articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan as crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, terrorism, financing of terrorism, as well as other serious crimes, the verdict was announced," the publication reported.
