Almost 30 winter shelters were opened in the Khabarovsk Territory by mid-February.

As of February 17, 25 ice crossings were opened in the Khabarovsk Territory. Winter gardens operate in 11 municipalities.

Seasonal routes operate, among others, in Khabarovsk, Nikolaevsky, Verkhnebureinsky and Pyano-Maysky districts. One of the highways is located within the borders of Khabarovsk, writes IA AmurMedia.

Specialists are constantly monitoring the situation on the ice crossings. Thus, since the beginning of 2026, fatal accidents have been avoided in the ice-covered reservoirs of the region.

On February 8, the first ice crossing of this season was opened in the Komsomolsky district of the Khabarovsk Territory. It runs along the Amur River near the village of Cherny Mys, on the 114th km of the Maikano-Silasun highway. The length is 1.7 km, the load capacity is 40 tons.
