The business program of the Future Technologies Forum has been published

The full business program of the Forum of Future Technologies — 2026 is published on the event's website. The forum will be held on February 25-26 at the World Trade Center in Moscow. The main topic is "Bioeconomics for humans". More than 30 thematic sessions and panel discussions will be held within the framework of the FBT with the participation of more than 100 speakers. The central event of the business program will be the plenary session. The event is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation.

"The Future Technologies Forum is a well—chosen platform where experts, the scientific community, and entrepreneurs from various industries can work with government representatives to find the most optimal solutions for the development of their projects and discuss all planned plans for their implementation. Russia has great potential in science and development, which should gain its life in industrialization, and by 2030, in those areas where bioeconomics is present, we must double production volumes. These are nature—like technologies, new materials using living systems, and many other areas that will be presented, including at the exhibition, where both foreign and Russian experts and interested parties can get a lot of new information, exchange opinions and find new contacts," the First Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. Andrey Fursenko, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation and Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia), is among the participants in the discussions at this year's Future Technologies Forum Veronika Skvortsova, President of the Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk, Director of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Honorary Academician N.F. Gamalei of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Denis Logunov, Director General of the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Vsevolod Belousov, Distinguished Professor, Head of the Materials Design Laboratory of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Artyom Oganov and other representatives of the scientific community and leading research centers and universities in Russia.

"This year, one of the most high—tech national projects of technological leadership, Bioeconomics, was launched. Russia is among the world leaders in terms of renewable biological resources. We have excellent starting positions, we have all the necessary competencies, and we have unique scientific developments. Bioeconomics will be the main topic of the Future Technologies Forum. Advanced developments in the field of genetics, bio- and nature-like technologies will be presented at the site. As our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said, bioeconomics is the most important topic in terms of the quality of global growth," said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

This year, the business program of the Future Technologies Forum is divided into four thematic blocks: "Technologies: Bioevolution", "Man: a new habitat", "Industries: sustainable development" and "Ecosystem: society strategy".

"The program of the Future Technologies Forum represents an integrated approach to the development of bioeconomics, one of the priority areas of technological development in Russia. According to the national Bioeconomics project, by 2030, an ambitious goal has been set to increase the share of domestic biotechnological products in the market to 55%, and production volumes by 96%. I am confident that the Forum of Future Technologies will contribute to achieving the goals of the national project, and specific mechanisms for their implementation will be developed on its site and effective interaction between the scientific community, business and the government will be established," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Forum of Future Technologies.

As part of the track of the business program "Technologies: Bioevolution", participants will discuss the use of artificial intelligence in the pharmaceutical, medical and agro-industrial sectors, additive biotechnologies, biopharmaceuticals of the future, as well as synthetic biology and nuclear technologies used in many areas of bioeconomy.

The sessions on "Man: a new habitat" focus on issues of food security, the application of bioeconomics in agriculture and the food industry, closed–loop bioindustry, bioregenerative life support systems and high-tech settlements organized on the principles of bioeconomics.

The participants of the discussion track "Industries: Sustainable development" will discuss scientific strategies of megagrants for the transformation of environmental challenges into a resource for development; the use of renewable resources for energy generation and environmental harm reduction, bioclusterization, agronetics and biomining of minerals.

Sessions of the Ecosystem: Society Strategy block will be devoted to the export of biological products, issues of regulatory regulation of bioeconomics, the development of national centers for genetic resources, biogeopolitics, scientific and technological forecasting, attracting investments in bioeconomics, myths of bioeconomics, as well as issues of bioethics and the role of publicity in the lives of scientists. In addition, the results of the Russian Science Foundation grant competition will be summed up in memory of the outstanding scientist Evgeny Pavlovich Velikhov.

Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, also emphasizes the importance of launching the national Bioeconomics project, which will receive special attention at this year's Future Technologies Forum.

"For Russia, bioeconomics is not only technological sovereignty, but also an opportunity for a new vector of technological leadership. The key objective of the national project is to effectively capitalize on our resource potential, create competitive production facilities and bring the country to the leaders of the global biotechnology market. Thus, the national project gives a clear signal that the state is ready to support the bioeconomy industry and invest in its development," Alikhanov stressed.

The Forum of Future Technologies — 2026 is held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Kurchatov Institute, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Science Foundation and the Russian Quantum Center.
