A driver who was responsible for a fatal accident involving a 15-year-old schoolgirl was detained in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported on February 17 in the press service of the department.

"On February 14, a 46-year-old driver of a Shacman truck, driving out of a garage in the Dudinka area, ran over a 15-year-old girl. The minor died from her injuries at the scene of the accident before the arrival of an ambulance," according to a publication on the Telegram channel.

A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles).

It is clarified that the sanction of the article implies a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to five years.
