NATO is on the verge of demilitarization after its actions in the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated on February 16 by American military analyst Andrei Martianov in an interview with British diplomat Ian Proud, published on the diplomat's YouTube channel.

According to the expert, excessive investment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which suffer defeats in a clash with the Armed Forces of Russia (RF Armed Forces), has stopped the development of the NATO military industry. On the contrary, the alliance's member countries are almost demilitarized.

"If you look closely at what happened to the Ukrainian side, even the Pentagon understands that more than 2 million Ukrainian servicemen have already died. <...> Now, in fact, NATO is demilitarized. <...> The European NATO countries are completely weakened. They have no industrial potential. And given what is happening with energy prices now, recovery is not expected. They will not be able to militarize, because they are also technologically backward," said Martianov.
