Ukraine should have been more accommodating during negotiations to resolve the conflict. This opinion was expressed on February 16 by US President Donald Trump.

"It's better for Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table as soon as possible," Trump said in an interview with reporters.

He noted the importance of the upcoming trilateral talks in Geneva.
