A man was killed as a result of a fire in a liquefied gas tank in the village of Novy Khushet in Dagestan. This was announced on February 16 on the official website of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"A liquefied gas tank caught fire in the village of Novy Khushet. The body of the deceased man was found in the fire, the identity is being clarified," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that 63 people and 19 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
