- Sobyanin spoke about the expansion of the network of children's military-patriotic camps
In accordance with the numerous wishes of schoolchildren and their parents, the Moscow authorities will expand the network of children's military-patriotic camps next summer. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told about this in his channel in the MACH messenger.
The first sports and patriotic tent camps were launched in the capital in 2025. According to the mayor of the capital, they were very popular, therefore, by popular demand, it was decided to open seven more military-patriotic camps this year. Each of them will receive the name of an outstanding Russian commander: for example, the Zhukov and Konev camps will operate in Alabino, the Rokossovsky camp will open in Patriot Park, the Vasilevsky camp will host schoolchildren at the center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Noginsk, and the Suvorov Camp on the territory of the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School, "Bagration" and "Nakhimov", in Zvenigorod "Chuikov" and "Ushakov", and in Odintsovo city district — "Kutuzov".
The camp program was developed with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. During the shifts, students will undergo tactical training, master first aid skills, and participate in sports competitions, film screenings, and concert events. A large-scale field game will be the end of each shift. Acceptance of applications for participation in the camps begins today. Parents of schoolchildren can apply through the Moscow Electronic School platform — in the Circles of the electronic diary service or in the Diary MASH mobile application.
In 2025, more than 4,600 Moscow schoolchildren had a rest in sports and patriotic camps. In 2026, more than 13,000 students in grades 7-10 will be able to visit them.
