More than 3 billion rubles allocated to emergency victims in 2025
The Reserve Fund of the Government of the Russian Federation has allocated more than 3 billion rubles as financial assistance to victims of emergency situations in the country in 2025. This was announced on February 16 during a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov.
"To provide financial assistance to victims in 2025, funds totaling more than three billion rubles have been allocated from the reserve fund of the government of the Russian Federation," he said.
The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also noted that all the required payments have already been brought to the population in full.
Earlier, the first deputy head of the government of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, announced that in 2025, units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued and evacuated over 240 thousand citizens to safe areas. He also noted that such results were achieved thanks to effective coordination between the central office and the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the professionalism and courage of the personnel.
