NABU announced charges against former Energy Minister Galushchenko

The former Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, was charged with money laundering. This was reported on February 16 in the Telegram channel of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

The ministry clarified that, together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP), the circle of suspects in the Midas case was expanded.

"The former Minister of Energy (2021-2025) was exposed for money laundering and participation in a criminal organization," the report says.

On January 15, NABU confirmed the detention of Galushchenko, who was fired amid a corruption scandal. It was noted that priority investigative measures were being carried out.
