Four people were killed and three others injured in a collision between an SUV and a minibus in the Magdagachinsky district of the Amur region. This was reported on February 16 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (SU IC) in the region.

"A head—on collision between Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Voxy cars occurred on 1,156 km of the Amur highway," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

It is specified that two passengers of the minibus and the driver of the SUV were taken to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity. The driver of the Toyota Voxy and three passengers of the Toyota Land Cruiser died on the spot.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence"). Work to establish all the circumstances of the incident is being established, the SU IC added.

A source from Izvestia reported on February 15 that a train carriage had driven into the right side of a passenger car on railway tracks in the Moscow Region. It was clarified that the collision occurred in the village of Lytkarino at the Volkusha Sports Center railway crossing.
