Combat crews of the Baltic Fleet's Bal coastal missile system (DBK) have practiced hitting simulated targets on the coast in the Kaliningrad Region. This was announced on February 16 by the press service of the fleet.

As part of the exercise, rocket launchers conducted a march from their permanent locations to designated areas, where they completed the readiness of launchers according to the standards. It is noted that the advantage of the DBK "Ball" is its high mobility, rapid change of position and readiness to use missile weapons in a short time.

As part of the planned event, strikes against surface targets of a simulated enemy with electronic missile launches were practiced. Then, various methods of placing equipment in various positions, organization of camouflage, as well as a change in the order of battle and location after the use of weapons were performed.

The rocket scientists conducted well-trained measures to protect the guns, including using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"The complex performs tasks with high efficiency within the framework of the ongoing exercises of the Baltic Fleet. The rocket crews perform all the sudden introductions, showing high proficiency," said a soldier with the call sign Grom.

The press service of the fleet reported on January 9 that the Russian ships Stoyky and Yelnya of the Baltic Fleet arrived in South Africa to participate in the trilateral exercises "Will to Peace 2026". It was noted that the naval forces of Russia, China and South Africa will take part in the exercises.
