Corporal Savva Kolotukhin destroyed an AFU FPV drone flying towards his colleagues

During a special military operation, Corporal Savva Kolotukhin, while coordinating the actions of Russian attack aircraft during their capture of an enemy stronghold, discovered and destroyed an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) flying towards his colleagues. This was announced on February 16 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During the combat mission, Kolotukhin monitored the movement of AFU personnel and promptly transmitted intelligence information to the command post. At the moment of the Russian assault group's advance, Kolotukhin discovered that an enemy FPV drone with an attached projectile was flying towards the Allies.

The corporal immediately reported the detected APC to the command post, then, using standard weapons, destroyed it with targeted shots. The enemy drone exploded in the air, missing the Russian assault group. Thanks to the vigilance and professionalism of the corporal, the Russian attack aircraft reached the specified point without losses, destroyed the enemy and gained a foothold on it.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the decisive actions of Senior Sergeant Andrei Krasnikov, who, as part of a reconnaissance group, discovered and destroyed an AFU stronghold.

Having received the order, Krasnikov promptly moved to the specified area. Having taken a favorable position, he launched a reconnaissance drone to monitor the perimeter. During the flight along the set route, Krasnikov discovered a hidden enemy stronghold.

Without wasting a minute, he returned the drone, replaced it with a quadcopter equipped with an improvised explosive device, and sent it to the enemy position. After dropping the charge, the senior sergeant successfully destroyed the camouflaged AFU stronghold. As a result, the enemy was forced to abandon their positions and retreat.

On February 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ensign Andrei Naimanov, as part of a sanitary evacuation post for conducting and organizing evacuation measures near the line of contact, assisted wounded colleagues and helped organize their evacuation from the combat zone. The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the decisive actions of Private Mikhail Stepashko, who promptly detected the approach of enemy militants and reported this to the command.
