German figure skaters Minerva Haze and Nikita Volodin are in the lead after the short program in pair skating at the Winter Olympics in Italy. The pair received 80.01 points for their performance.

Russians Anastasia Metelkina and Luka Berulava, representing Georgia, are in second place (75.46). In third place are Canadian figure skaters Lia Pereira and Trent Michaud (74.60).

On Monday, a free program from the top 16 pairs will be presented.
