Businessman Deripaska called the countries of the Global South a true threat to Europe

European countries are not threatened by Russia at all, but by the countries of the Global South, with which they are unable to compete. This was announced on February 15 by businessman Oleg Deripaska.

"The aging billion of the West will not be able to compete with the Global South, either economically or militarily. This is the main threat to the well-fed life of the Old World. It's not Russia," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

The entrepreneur stressed that analyzing the speeches of European politicians at the Munich Security Conference, he never ceased to be surprised at their poor understanding of what is happening in the world.

A day earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban predicted that Europe would enter an "age of humiliation" because of its erroneous policies. At the same time, Irish economist Philip Pilkington called EU leaders pathetic after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio refused to meet with them. He clarified that at the Munich Conference, the Europeans simply "sat in the rooms" and discussed what they could not influence.
