More than 170 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region during a massive attack.

The massive attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Bryansk region has been going on for more than 12 hours, over 170 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been shot down. This was announced on February 15 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"A massive enemy drone attack on our region has been going on for more than 12 hours," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the region called on local residents to observe security measures and, if suspicious objects are found, report to the Unified Dispatch Service on duty.

According to him, as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the energy infrastructure of the region, there is no heat and electricity in five municipalities and partially in Bryansk.

Earlier in the day, the air defense forces eliminated 123 Ukrainian UAVs over the regions of the Russian Federation. So, out of the total number of downed drones, 15 were heading towards Moscow. In addition to the capital region, drones were eliminated over the Bryansk, Kaluga, Tula, Kursk, Orel, Belgorod and Vladimir regions.
