The Syrian army has taken control of the US Al-Shaddadi base in the northeast of the country.

Soldiers of the Syrian army took control of the US military base Al-Shadadi, located in the northeastern province of Hasaka. This was announced on Sunday, February 15, according to the SANA news agency, citing representatives of the republic's defense Ministry.

"The Syrian Arab Army has taken control of the Al-Shaddadi military base," the report says.

It is noted that this operation was carried out with the assistance of the American side, which in turn also confirmed the transfer of the facility.
