Four people were injured in a fire at an oil well near Samara

An oil well caught fire in the Samara Region, injuring four people. This was reported on February 15 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

The incident occurred during the maintenance of the well, the lifting unit for repair caught fire. No one was killed in the incident, but men born in 1979, 1987, 1994 and 1995 were injured.

According to the Izvestia source, the victims were hospitalized. One person is in serious condition, two are in average condition.

The department also added that the fire was extinguished on an area of 20 square meters. m.
