More than 60 children have contracted measles due to an outbreak in seven schools and one kindergarten in Enfield, north London. This was reported on February 15 by Sky News channel.

"Cases of infection have been confirmed in at least seven schools in Enfield and Haring, and the virus is spreading," said one of the doctors at the UK Health Safety Agency (UKHSA).

The article notes that modeling of a large-scale measles outbreak in London has shown that from 40,000 to 160,000 people may be infected.

The Daily Express newspaper reported on January 31 that a sharp increase in the incidence of tuberculosis was recorded in the UK. It is indicated that 5,424 cases of tuberculosis were registered in the country in 2025, which is 25% more than the number of cases reported in 2022.
