The Russian Ambassador reported on the tendency of Russians in Austria to renounce their citizenship

Employers in Austria are encouraging Russians to renounce their citizenship. This was announced on February 15 by Russian Ambassador to Vienna Andrey Grozov.

"We often receive complaints about <...> the attitude of Russian citizens from employers, who often force employees to renounce Russian citizenship," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The ambassador added that such an attitude is biased and openly Russophobic.

"The standard of living in the EU is under threat, and society will demand changes"
