Soldiers of the 2nd army liberated the settlements of Rovnoye, Rog and Gnatovka, adjacent to Krasnoarmeysk from the east. This was announced on February 15 by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov during an inspection of the Center group of forces.

"As of today, formations and military units of the 2nd army have liberated the settlements of Rovnoye, Rog and Gnatovka, adjacent to Krasnoarmeysk on the eastern side," he said during an inspection of the Center group of forces.
