The calculation of self-propelled guns destroyed the concentration of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army direction

The calculation of the Msta-S self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) of the Center group of forces destroyed the concentration of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on February 15 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

A unit of the Unmanned Systems Forces (UAVs) transmitted information about the deployment of AFU personnel after conducting reconnaissance. The crew performed guidance and opened rapid fire after confirming the coordinates.

According to the agency, the adjustment was carried out in real time with the help of BPS operators, ensuring high accuracy of fire. As a result of the fire action, the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were completely destroyed.

"We are hitting enemy infantry at a distance of 18 km. This is 2S19 ("Msta-S", a model of the gun. — Ed.), a crew of six people. <...> I get a command from the battery control, we run to the gun, they give us a target, we aim, practice, mask the gun and go into hiding," says gun commander Aidar Musayev about his work.

On February 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a mobile anti-aircraft group of the 49th Combined arms Army from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in the sky over the Kherson region. The unit has an important task to prevent the enemy from breaking through the airspace. Consequently, combat readiness remains at the highest level at any time of the day.
