The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has launched a pre-trial investigation against Kazakh comedian Nurlan Saburov. This was announced on February 14 by Ukrainian lawyer Yevgeny Pronin.

"The Security Service of Ukraine has entered information into the ERDR (Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. — Ed.) and launched a pre—trial investigation into my statement about the commission of a criminal offense by a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
