On February 14, Russian figure skater Daniil Gleikhengauz announced that he had received Olympic accreditation and went to the Olympic Games as a coach.

Gleichengauz posted a photo from the airport on his Telegram channel, where he holds a ticket and a document certifying his coaching rights.

Gleichengauz is the coach of figure skater Adelia Petrosyan, who will compete at the Games in women's single skating.

On February 10, Italian short-track speed skater Arianna Fontana became the first woman in history to win medals at six Winter Olympic Games. Fontana also has 17 medals at the World Championships (one gold) and 45 awards at the European Championships (25 gold).
