Condoms will be delivered to all Olympic villages by Monday. This was announced on February 14 by the Milan-Cortina Foundation.

"New supplies are currently being carried out, which will be delivered to all villages between today and Monday," RIA Novosti quoted the foundation as saying.

It is specified that contraceptives will be supplied until the end of the Olympics.

La Stampa newspaper reported on February 12 that free condoms intended for athletes in the Olympic Village had run out just three days after the start of the competition. Later, Mark Adams, Director of Communications for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), added that the lack of contraceptives in the Olympic Village was related to the celebration of Valentine's Day.
