"In the period from 16:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, nine Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that three vehicles were shot down in the sky over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, as well as over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

In the morning of the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 20 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine overnight over the territory of Russia. It was emphasized that 13 devices were identified and eliminated over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, two more over the Orel region and one each over the Astrakhan, Bryansk, Kursk, Lipetsk regions and the Moscow region.
