Orban predicted a "century of humiliation" for Europe because of its erroneous policies

Europe, whose countries are experiencing industrial decline, may enter an "age of humiliation" if it continues to pursue its policies as it is doing now. This was announced on February 14 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

"If it continues as it is now, this century will become the century of humiliation of Europe. A new industrial revolution has begun in the world, and Europe cannot participate in it," he said as part of his annual speech, a video posted on M1's YouTube channel.

Western countries, led by ideological regulators, as the Hungarian Prime Minister explained, are dropping out of the competition because they spend a lot on energy. Expenses of this kind, in his opinion, "kill the economy."

If the situation remains unchanged, Europe may for the first time "since the invention of the steam engine" cease to be a formative force, Orban added. Instead, he predicted, she would become a victim of global change.

On January 11, Orban also predicted the collapse of the European economy after the leaders of the European Union (EU) countries decided to transfer 800 billion euros to Ukraine. He said that such an amount forces Hungary to cancel "the family support system, pensions, cheap energy, hospitals and fair taxes." The Hungarian leader clarified that his country refuses to participate in such a thing.

On February 10, the Hungarian Prime Minister said that Ukraine's accession to the EU would result in the collapse of agriculture for Hungary. Then he clarified that if Kiev destroys Europe, it will not be his problem, but the problem of the Europeans, but if the potential threat affects Hungary, they will have to intervene in this matter.
