The Azerbaijani organization For the Benefit of the Common People was banned in Russia by the decision of the Moscow City Court. This was reported on February 14 by TASS with reference to a participant in the trial.

It is indicated that the association was recognized as extremist in Russia.

"The court granted the claim of the Moscow prosecutor's office against the Azerbaijani organization VBON on countering extremist activities and banned the activities of this organization in Russia," the agency's interlocutor said.
