The White House has published postcards with Maduro and Greenland for Valentine's Day
On February 13, the White House published holiday photos on the eve of Valentine's Day with images of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, US Leader Donald Trump and Greenland.
"Especially for you," reads the caption to the images on the social network X.
The valentine's card with Maduro's image during his detention on a bright red background is signed with the words "You captured my heart", which translates as "You conquered my heart", but the word "capture" primarily means "capture".
The postcard with Trump on a pink background contains no inscriptions, except for the folder where "executive order No. 4547" is signed under the title "You are my Valentine", and the corresponding signature of the president.
The valentine card, which depicts a map of Greenland, contains the message "It's time to define our relationship."
The fourth picture shows a Democrat with, presumably, an immigrant and the inscription "My love for you is as strong as the love of Democrats for illegal immigrants, I would fly 1,537 miles (2,473.56 km) to drink with you!".
On January 20, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during the final press conference on the results of diplomatic activity in 2025, joked about former US President Joe Biden's use of a fountain pen to sign documents during his presidency. He recalled, as an example, Biden's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2021, during which Biden spoke "without any notes."
