Five people died in a fire in a private house in the Khabarovsk Territory.

In the village of Kukan, Khabarovsk Territory, five people, including four children, died as a result of a fire in a private house. This was announced on February 14 by the head of the Khabarovsk municipal District Sergey Budkin.

"A fire broke out in a private apartment building on Novaya Street. By the time firefighters arrived, the building was completely engulfed in flames," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Budkin, a mother and four children were killed. At the moment, the fire has been completely eliminated, and specialists are working on site. He added that a criminal case had been opened into the incident.
